GENERAL FILLER INFO
Is this the final result? The immediate results are a view into the future of your results. If you like your filler right away, you’ll love it in two weeks as the work begins to settle. While you may have some soreness initially, the area will start to feel and look more natural in no time!
When can I wear makeup? What about work out? You can apply makeup ~30 mins after your procedure. We suggest waiting 24 hours before working out.
What are some common side effects? Bumps: These can sometimes happen with lip filler. Most bumps are small resolving bruises or a build up of the product. These can be massaged out or, in rare instances, we can use a small droplet of a dissolver. Swelling: depends on multiple factors and just because you didn’t swell one time, does not mean you will not swell the next time you do a treatment. Sometimes an anti-swelling medication will be given after your injection.
Bruising: Some people are predisposed to bruise. We suggest that you avoid vitamins, alcohol, and ibuprofen products to minimize the chance of bruising. Bruises can last 2-3 days or up to 2 weeks depending on type and location. Arnica pills can be purchased during your visit that can help heal bruises. Occasionally, we may suggest a follow up laser appointment to help speed up more severe bruises.
What if I want more? You’re in luck! We offer specials on follow-up syringes within the first month of treatment.
When to seek medical attention Increasing redness or intense pain is not normal. Please text us.
The Basics Prepare to be complimented on how rested you look -- the results of your Tired Eye treatment should keep you looking refreshed for about 9 months. Swelling and minor bruising can last up to two weeks, with swelling lasting longer than bruising. Make sure you ice the area and have patience!
Side Effects We’re all different, so some people experience bumps easier than others. Bumps typically happen from needle pokes (these go away in about a day or so), bruises (2 days to 2 weeks), swelling (2 days to 2 weeks), and rarely from the product itself (can be corrected if needed after 2-3 weeks). Some people are predisposed to bruise. We suggest that you avoid vitamins, alcohol, and ibuprofen products to minimize the chance of bruising. Bruises can last 2-3 days or up to 2 weeks depending on type and location. Arnica pills ($50) can be purchased during your visit that can help heal bruises. Occasionally, we may suggest a follow up laser appointment to help speed up more severe bruises.
When can I resume normal activities? Wait 24 hours before wearing glasses that push on the area of injection or resuming normal activities including working out. You can fly the same day!
What can I do to keep my eyes looking great? Most important: stay hydrated by drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. We also recommend Neocutis Under Eye Cream ($100), Skinceuticals’ topical vitamin C hydration cream ($110), microneedle home device for collagen stimulation ($80) or collagen stimulating masks ($150).
Anything else We highly recommend our *Eye Recovery Package* including Arnika pills, Prednisone steroids and specialty eye masks and serums. These will all help with the recovery, longevity, fine lines and dark circles.
Additional Plump treatments to consider? HydraPlumped ($250/session) is our newest offering. It’s a non-invasive treatment that removes dead skin and extracts impurities while hydrating and moisturizing with specialized serums.
